TDG Business Services (formerly TDG Associates) was founded by Alan Donges in 2009 after he retired from 28 years with accounting firm Roberts & Morrow, including 18 years in the partnership. The goal of TDG was to provide local, tailored accounting and business services to the Tenterfield and surrounding community.

Based in a rural area, we have first-hand knowledge of the issues that primary producers and businesses face in this area, and many of us live on the land ourselves. We are also affiliated with Westlawn Finance and share office space with them, making it easy for you to chat with them if you need to obtain a loan.

A chartered accountant is an internationally recognised designation, and these accountants are required to maintain very high ethical and professional standards. They are also required to undergo ongoing professional education.

	Alan Donges Principal With over 35 years of experience in public practice and the finance industry, Alan is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. Alan enjoys meeting with his clients face-to-face and often travels to see them. Alan launched TDG Associates in 2009 after retiring from Roberts & Morrow, where he worked for 28 years, including 18 years in the partnership. In 2013, the company was rebranded to TDG Business Services. Alan’s professional interests include small business management and taxation, superannuation and retirement planning, and the interaction of IT systems within the industry. Qualifications: Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand Certified Practicing Accountant Registered Tax Agent Justice of the Peace
	Donna Simpson Practice Manager - Bachelor of Commerce - Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and New Zealand Donna has over 20 years of experience working in accounting and taxation. Upon graduating from UNE Armidale with a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Accounting and Human Resource Management), Donna joined Roberts & Morrow in 2000 working in the Tenterfield office. Donna finished her CA qualification to become a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 2004, before travelling and working in Canada for 12 months. Since coming back to Australia, Donna worked in Brisbane and Melbourne as a Business Services Manager and In-House Business Services Advisor. Having grown up in Ballandean and her family still farming now, Donna has life experience not only in agriculture but an array of industries such as hospitality, mining, real estate, property development and project management. Donna spends her spare time being mum to Bronson.
	Janine Egan Business Services Client Manager Janine joined the TDG team in 2019 working remotely part time and now is working full time since relocating to Tenterfield. Janine owned her own book-keeping business on the Gold Coast for over 10 years. Janine also worked as a Financial Controller in the hotel and childcare industries. Janine also ran a winery in the Margaret River Region with her husband. Janine enjoys spending her spare time camping and travelling outback Australia, she also enjoys to travel overseas by way of cruising.
	Margaret Lane Superannuation Client Manager Margaret joined TDG part-time in 2020 focusing her work on self managed super funds. She has over 17 years experience in bookkeeping where she also carries out the bookkeeping for her own electrical business with her husband, located in Toowoomba. She grew up on a farm half an hour from Toowoomba and now resides in Toowoomba with her husband and 3 children.
	Jane Butler Business Services Assistant Accountant Jane joined the TDG team in July of 2021 after previously spending 6 and a half years at Sexton & Green before their closure. Jane started as part of the administration team and is gradually making her way to become a junior accountant. Jane is an active member of the community, she is treasurer of the local Wallangarra RSL Sub Branch and also a member of the Tenterfield Physie Club. Jane enjoys spending quality time with her family.
	Jess Kennedy Business Services Assistant Accountant Jess joined the TDG team in 2021, having previously worked in the administration, hospitality and events industries. Jess is an active member of many local community organisations and enjoys volunteering at local events. Jess enjoys travelling with her daughter, Taneeka and looks forward to watching Taneeka achieve her dreams.
	Britta Strahl Business Services Assistant Accountant Britta joined TDG for a change of scenery after spending her previous career in the medical profession. Having originally purchased a small farm just to the west of Tenterfield with her partner in 2012, she relocated to Tenterfield full time in 2019 and is enjoying being in a role that allows her to be an active part of the community. She is a founding member of Tenterfield Traditional Archers and competes at both state and national level. When at home, she enjoys growing things, making arrows, reading and having philosophical discussions with the local birdlife.
	Bianca Peell Administration Bianca joined TDG in November 2022 as part of the administration team after previously working in other admin roles. Bianca is a member of the Tenterfield Tennis club and enjoys going camping on the weekends. When Bianca isn't working at TDG she likes to help out on her families farm.
	Nicole Haddock Administration Nicole joined TDG in July 2023 after previously working in an admin role in her families business. Nicole studied business administration and has since had roles in admin at various points in between raising her family. Nicole is an avid D.I.Yer and likes to spend quality time with her family. Nicole and her husband enjoy driving their vintage cars and are members of the local transport museum.
	Olivia Butler Administration Olivia joined TDG as part of the administration team at the start of 2024 after successfully completing Grade 12. Olivia has decided to spend her gap year at TDG before moving to the Sunshine Coast to complete a Bachelors in Primary Education. Olivia is a member of the Tenterfield Physie Club and enjoys spending her free time with her friends and family.
